Welcome to Homemade by Kristin 

Hi! I'm Kristin! I have been crafting for as long as I can remember.  During the summers when I was a kid, my mom would take me to the local craft store to pick out a project.  My favorite things to make as a kid were friendship bracelets, cross stitch, and latch hook rugs. Remember those?  In elementary school, my mom taught me how to hand stitch my patches onto my Girl Scout sash.  In middle school, my great grandmother taught me how to crochet.  And in college, my grandmother gave me a sewing machine and I started sewing t-shirt quilts for myself and friends.

Going to the craft store is still one of my favorite things to do! After my son was born, I discovered Pinterest and began to explore even more crafting projects.  I even learned how to make cake pops.  And now that I have a Cricut machine, I'm making cards, banners, and putting vinyl on everything I can - shirts, mugs, notebooks, etc.
